BUILDING BIG DIGITAL MOVEMENTS
Adopting A Digital Mobilisation Model To Engage The Public At Scale & Drive Action.
19 septembrie, online
Organisations from all over the world have used digital techniques as the catalyst to build or harness the energy of existing movements in order to bring about the change they want to see.
Greenpeace, the ACLU and countless political campaigns from all over the world have applied movement building techniques to their successes and we can learn a lot from them. Paul will explain the theory behind mobilisation and movement building and how it applies to charities. He will give examples of how organisations have activated this thinking to drive successful public engagement, campaigning and fundraising activities.
Paul will cover the case study of Refuge, a UK based domestic abuse charity. He will explain how Refuge adopted a digital mobilisation model which saw them raise millions of pounds and recruit thousands of additional supporters, campaigners and donors.
The session will be a mix of presentation, practical workshop exercises and discussion, and after attending this session you will be able to:
1. Identify the areas of strength and weakness in your organisation’s ability to test the Digital Mobilisation model.
2. Start planning your own Digital Mobilisation test.
3. Be clearer on the messages your organisation can use to inspire the public to take action.
It’s a session designed for all Charity / NGO staff who communicate with the public to inspire them to take action of any kind. So would be useful for fundraising campaigns/advocacy and communications staff at all levels.
This interactive session will leave you with the inspiration, knowledge and examples to enable you to build a big digital movement at your organisation.
The Masterclass runs on September 19, between 10.00 – 15.00, on Zoom.
We will publish the complete agenda in the coming days.
You will receive the zoom link based on your registration and payment of Masterclass fee a few days before the event.
